    Whorl Hill Farm, Faceby

Post  petergj on Sun Nov 14, 2010 4:51 pm

The farmer at Whorl Hill Farm stopped us at approx 11:30 this morning. He complained about a group of riders who went through his farm earlier in the day towards Faceby with several riders travelling at excessive speed and making unacceptable noise (his words) travelling past poultry sheds. We need to be careful and not irritate farmers!

Was not me as we had to wait for some riders to get through the gates. We gathered up out side the chicken sheds near the farm house. It did sound like there were some bikes behind though. A pilot jeep was also playing on Battersby Plantation.
There was a massive amount of 4x4s out today. They were all over the moors. I think we passed 18 in total.
