    nycc on line map service

    Post  ianttr250 on Thu Jan 05, 2012 8:21 pm

before i had a look at low worsall in august i rang nycc and asked them if all the green routes on the map were ok to use and could i use a motor vehicle on them .they said yes .so i am confused as to why they leave fangdale beck on and others ,take hambleton drove off. on their map scugdale is one complete lane ,not two with a bit of bridle way inbetween .so whats the crack ,do they not put new tro,s on this map .

Correct tro's don't go on the map and this adds to the confusion. You are correct with Scugdale. The problem is the parks are claiming its dual status and the NERC bill is leading to a lot of confusion as it was intended to remove vehicular rights from dual status routes.
I presume it will be another case like Hutton Village. We will find out at the meeting.

If you tick road network and public rights of way on the map legend, you will see the overlapping bit of bridleway that they claim makes it dual status.
