    What rear tyre

Post  Guest on Mon Nov 07, 2011 5:54 am

Need to get a new rear tyre very soon, was wondering which to get, Mitas X Treme 754 or C02.

    Any advice greatly accepted.

    Cheers,

    Scott.

Mitas 754. The Co2 gives hardly any grip compared with the 754. Even when the 754 wears down it still works well.

You could try enshrine at battlefield but I think that you have more chance of finding a hen with teeth than getting one. For some reason they are hard to get hold of.

Cheers, I'll order straight from Trellesport if need be.
The group should do a group buy.

I always use AC10's. they seem to grip well on mud and tarmac and last for ages. My Local tyre shop (Browns @ Malton) get 'em next day and fit em (cos I'm hopeless at fitting tyres)

Had AC10's in the past, found them long lasting and were pretty good when I did most of my riding in the Dales, but thought there might be better tyres for the mud of the Moors.
