    Throstle Nest

Post  petergj on Sun Jun 19, 2011 12:58 pm

Its been very quiet on this forum recently.....

Had a good run out yesterday from Moorsholm and aimed to get to Ravenscar area before returning but the weather cut this short. Everywhere is still bone dry including Dun Bog and many of the lanes are getting overgrown - maybe many people are too busy to ride...???!!!

Anyway a couple of points :-

    - After promising the other members of my group lunch at Sleights chippie, imagine the wrath I faced when we found it was closed due to staff holidays. Maybe an opportunity for the forum to publish when our various eating establishments are closed for holidays, etc.

    - Maybe I have not been paying attention in the monthly TRF meetings, but how long has Throstle Nest been closed and do we know when it will re-open?
